Dear friends!

There has been so much on my mind and I quite literally haven’t had a second to sit down in weeks! We’ve been trying to sell our house, and with 9 showings I’ve been cleaning up a storm. In the midst of it all Danny’s been working Georgia football games and I’ve been packing boxes. We celebrated 17 years of marriage and my 40th birthday this week! We move in six days, closer to my family and closer to reBlossom. Yay, for walking to work!

Our shop is now open by appointment, one family at a time, but I’ve been trying to figure out ways to offer more support to our families.

I’ve been dreaming up an evening conversation series and think I want to begin with Pandemic Schooling: Virtual, Pod or F2F. One mama shared with me that things weren’t going as well as expected within their tiny pod. Another is struggling to decide whether or not to return to school on Nov. 9.

The following week let’s chat about Parenting, Race & Politics. One mama shared with me that she was heartbroken that her beloved neighbors had gone silent after political signs were placed in the yard. How do we navigate these difficult situations?

We’re having our 9th Annual Halloween Party on Zoom on Friday, October 30 from 10:30-11:30 am. We’ll have a story or two, some songs, dancing and games perhaps!? Come in costume and we’ll be giving away gift cards in a variety of categories for the annual costume contest.

Can’t wait to see you soon! One day.

Love,

Monira

The Silks love to travel, explore nature and play dress-up with their dog, Sweet Pete, and their chatty cat, Gabby. True story: the first words her husband ever said to her were, "Will you marry me" in Arabic!
