Description & Details
Join us for a really important topic that so many women & families are experiencing, but is so difficult to talk about.
Estimates say 1 in 6 couples will have some trouble trying to have a baby. As defined by the CDC, infertility is defined as "not being able to get pregnant (conceive) after one year of unprotected sex."
This sharing session will delve into what happens when you have fertility issues, treatments, the physical & emotional side of miscarriage, and what to do if nothing is working, to include intrauterine & in vitro fertilization.
Our lead facilitator will be Amy Lasseter, of Holistic Therapies and Holistic Therapies & Consulting. She is the mother of three lovely children and will be sharing how she made it happen with us.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from UGA & a master’s degree from the Community Counseling program at North Georgia College and State University. Lasseter worked with the Department of Family and Children Services & in the Intensive Family Intervention Unit with Advantage Behavior Health Systems before branching out on her own. She believes in treating the whole person, leaving them feeling centered, balanced, and confident. Learn more atwww.lassetertherapies.com
We will also have mamas in the audience who will be willing to share their experiences as well!
You may be at the beginning of the road, you may have never had any experience with any of these issues but want to learn more to support family and friends. All are welcome.
